Join Me in Honoring Debra Lynn Friede
1 in every 8 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime. It is time to put an end to this horrible disease once and for all.
As nurses, we make personal efforts to promote healthy lifestyles, and stress the importance of early detection, and try to raise awareness of the extreme necessity of annual mammograms and screenings.
My grandmother and aunt are breast cancer survivors, and my fiance's mother lost a long and hard battle to breast cancer eleven years ago. Their stories have inspired me, and my fellow nursing team mates, to stand up to cancer and hopefully put an end to it once and for all by teaming up with the Susan G Komen foundation. This foundation is very impactful and provides the most real-time help to suffering women, compared to any other nonprofit.
We will be participating in the Race for the Cure on September 24th, and believe that every dime counts when it comes to anihalating breast cancer for good. Your support is so appreciated, and will go a long way for women in need, who are currently fighting their own battle. With your help, we are one step closer to living in a world without cancer.
Peace and love, Maggie-Rose, and the entire Stritch Nursing Team
